Robert Austin - Partner, Randolph Office
Bob graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1965. He entered the insurance business in 1968, joining the Travelers Insurance Company in their life sales development program. During this time, Bob earned his Chartered Life Underwriter degree through Northeastern University 's three year program.
In 1971, he joined C.A. Powers & Sons as a general sales broker, writing all forms of insurance. Bob currently resides in Duxbury.

David graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Business Administration and after working in the insurance field for three years, joined the Agency in 1973. He has experience in both Personal and Business insurance, as well as Financial Services and Group Insurance.
David has lived in Hingham since 1976. He is an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Hingham & Hull. His interests include hiking, skiing, kayaking and tennis.

Dick began working in the insurance industry in 1975 after earning a degree in Business Administration at the University of New Hampshire. After nearly five years with The Travelers, first in the Personal Lines Mass Marketing Department and then the Life & Health Sales Department, Dick joined the Agency in 1979. In 1985 Dick earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. During his many years in the insurance business Dick has become well versed in both Personal and Business insurance. He is currently a member of the Danvers Chapter of Business Networking International.
Dick lives in Gloucester where he has resided since 1978. He is a past member of the Gloucester Clean City Commission and the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce. He was involved with Youth Sports in Gloucester for many years and most recently was appointed by the Mayor to the Gloucester Audit Committee.

Rodney C. “Chip” Powers - Partner, Randolph Office > back to top
Chip attended Nichols College in Dudley MA, majoring in Business Administration. After operating his own construction company, Chip joined the Powers Agency in the Randolph office in 1981. He is fully versed in all aspects of Personal & Business insurance.
Chip lives in Abington with his wife Ellen. He has four children and five grandchildren. He enjoys carpentry and working on older cars.

Robin J. Chandler - Sales Associate, Randolph Office > back to top
Robin attended Emerson College in Boston , spent a year at La Sorbonne in Paris and a year in Lorenzo De Medici in Italy . Robin has worked in the insurance industry since 1996. She spent two years selling medical insurance for the self-employed, then joined the Agency in 1998. She is currently a member of the Kingston Chapter of Business Networking International. Robin is well-versed in all types of insurance.
Robin lives in Duxbury with her husband and daughter. Her interests include skiing with her family, boating and cooking.

Paula joined the staff of C.A. Powers & Sons in Boston in 1987 after working for 10 years for The Travelers. She is the Senior Customer Service Rep. Paula has an extensive background in insurance after thirty years in the industry. Paula is a native of Massachusetts, currently residing in Burlington. Her interests include reading and writing fiction, wine, cooking and entertaining, traveling, and her Chihuahua .

Carol is the Office Manager in the Randolph office of C.A. Powers & Sons. She has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining the Charles A. Powers team in 1991, Carol was previously the Office Manager for an Insurance Agency in Dedham , MA . Carol received a degree in Accounting from Massasoit College . She is well-qualified to help with any of your insurance needs.
Carol is an avid equestrian and the owner of a magnificent Appaloosa named Spot.

Tom has worked as a Customer Service Representative in the insurance field since 1998. Prior to coming to Charles A. Powers & Sons in 2002, Tom was the Office Manager of an Insurance Agency in Worcester , MA .
Having served 20 years in the United States Army, Tom retired in 1996. He is a Desert Storm Veteran. With over 20 Awards and Decorations including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and the Southwest Asia Service Medal w/3 Combat Stars.
Tom currently resides in the town of Easton , MA.
